As many of you people have figured out about this unfortunate ordeal, YouTube's COPPA effect is now in fruition and it's affecting many content creators all across the site. This includes animators who make cartoons that are not geared towards for children. But as usual, YouTube has made several flaws regarding the new effect that just happened as mistook some 2D animations as "those that are geared towards children" making the channel setting pointless to use thanks to YouTube's bastardized machine learning mechanisms. So what does it mean for YouTube Animators now?

Well, hope they still use Newgrounds because this is technically the OG of animations. And because of this being the original place for content creators like myself, I feel as though I should keep using it for as long as possible. And lest we forget that YouTube is a starting point for animators!

I heard there are some alternatives to YouTube as well, but they're just too lame unfortunately. I don't think Vlare and BitChute can compete against a Tech Giant like YouTube. And I suppose people would consider using YouTube a little more if they can abide by their new policies. It is going to be a tough hurdle to handle you know.

I guess all we can do is grin and bear it. I'm not too keen about it but stuff happens. :/
